Register to win an autographed volleyball from Huskers Head Coach John Cook

We’re all here because we love volleyball…we love homeschool…we love family. And so does Nebraska 117 - a Nebraska nonprofit that exists to ‘take up the cause of the fatherless’ (Isaiah 1:17) by supporting foster families.

Why do foster families need support?

Because caring for children from hard places and working within a frustrating system makes fostering an isolating journey.

Did you know? 50% of foster families will quit within a year.

Nebraska 117 wants to change that…and we could use your help.

How Can You Help?

Register below to stay informed about how to support foster families…and for a chance to win some fun prizes.

If you feel led to give, all donations will be used to purchase gift cards & given to foster families.

Enjoy your volleyball weekend! Thank you for being YOU. Kind. Compassionate. Generous. Oh, here’s the prizes up for grabs:

  • An autographed volleyball from John Cook, head coach of the Husker volleyball team

  • Nebraska 117 Swag

Drawings will be held throughout the weekend & winners will be notified. You don’t need to be present to win, but do need to register!

Congratulations to Tanya Devall from Grand Island for being the grand prize winner of the autographed volleyball from Husker Head Coach John Cook.

By providing my contact information, I understand I will be entered into drawings for prizes and subscribed to receive the Nebraska 117 newsletter.

For the price of a $10 meal, you can encourage a foster family.

What Is Stand Sunday?

Stand Sunday started when Bishop Aaron Blake set aside his Sunday sermon and, at the Lord’s prompting, asked his church this question: “Who will stand with me to defend, care and support abused, abandoned and neglected children in our community?” In celebration of Stand Sunday on November 12, Nebraska 117 is collecting $10 donations NOW through November 12. ALL proceeds will be used to purchase gift cards for foster families.
