Testimonials

  • Having a care team was a true game changer for me as a single foster mom. Knowing dinners were taken care of each Monday feels so small but was so helpful (and usually there were leftovers for lunch or another dinner!), having a ride home for the older one after a weekly activity she loved gave me the chance to be at home with the younger child and also have some time to myself. Having a team committed to pray and surround us as the case ebbed and flowed was so encouraging and made me feel so much less alone. I loved having a TEAM of people surround these girls along with me, people they could talk with and trust, and made it easier for me to step away from time to time knowing they would be in good hands. I really believe both the quality of my care and the longevity were impacted for the better because of my care team.

  • Care Teams offer huge support to a foster family. A regular group of people who we know individually, and who take a vested interest in our lives and the lives of our kids, makes a difference. Whether it be meals, gifts, rides, or prayer and encouragement, foster parenting is hard and support makes it possible.

  • The care team has been such a blessing to our family as we have cared for two teenage girls who are refugees from Afghanistan. There is such power in community- and the care team demonstrates this so beautifully! I know the girls feel so loved by the rides, meals, hangouts, and prayers. Our family has felt so supported and covered.
